YOUTH LEAGUES THAT NEED OUR SUPPORT

ALPINE AMERICAN LITTLE LEAGUE

Alpine American Little League is one of the oldest youth organizations in our area.  While they do have some playing fields located at Shadow Hills Elementary School, space is very limited due to the growth of the league.  Teams have to share fields for both practice and games and because of these space limitations, there is not always enough room to allow every child that wants to play an opportunity to do so.

ALPINE YOUTH SOCCER ORGANIZATION

Alpine's Youth Soccer Organization is by far the largest youth league in our area.  With over 600 kids signing up each year, the league utilizes every inch of playing fields available to them at our Alpine schools.  A problem arises each year as the season between Little League and Soccer comes close to overlapping.   Little League must remove all of their fencing and base ball equipment every season to accomodate soccer.  Because of this, Winter Ball is limited to whatever space the Alpine American Little League can find.

ALPINE'S POP WARNER MOUNTAINEERS FOOTBALL LEAGUE

The Alpine Mountaineers, a Pop Warner football league has NO home fields for practice or games.  Currently, they are allowed to practice on the Viejas Native American field, however there is not enough room for all the age divisions to practice as often as they need to.  The league has no home field and has to travel about a 25 mile round trip to play their games at Granite Hills high school which is located in another city.  The league desperately needs a field to call home.
